1. Binariseadd chapter
The default value for the binarization (conversion to black and white) of color and grayscale images is 128.
Binarization Threshold: The binarization threshold function can be used to set the threshold for converting the image to a 1bit b/w image. The higher the value, the darker the image becomes during conversion. The image is displayed in b/w immediately after selecting the function, so that the threshold adjustment in the image can be followed. The image itself will not be converted to a 1bit image at this time, this is either done when saving the image or jobs, if binarize is checked when saving. The images can also be executed within the job by using the function Operation on the execute/binarize in the menu Job.
The binarization threshold function is only available via the toolbar.
